A Saving/Current account will be treated as inoperative if there are no customes induced transactions in the account for a period of over two years they are classified as inoperative/dormant accounts as per the guidelines of Reserve Bank Of India.
To make the account operative You will have to submit your KYC(Know Your Customer) Documents. These will include address proof, Pan Card and Identity documents.
